Futurecom Systems Group 2nd Annual Giving Back Day
June 23, 2016

Futurecom celebrated their 2nd Annual Giving Back Day on June 23rd. Futurecom teamed up once again with the Living City Foundation and the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) to beautify the entrance circle gardens at Black Creek Pioneer Village. Black Creek Pioneer Village is an outdoor living history museum located in northwest Toronto. Heritage buildings and heritage gardens encompass the grounds.
Team members were put to work removing invasive plants including European buckthorns and dog-strangling vines. Indigenous plants to Southern Ontario were planted including butterfly weed, switch grass and Iron weed. After all their hard work was completed team members met for a BBQ back at the Futurecom facility.
