Clow Valve committed to saving energy

June 12, 2017

Clow Valve project engineer Paul Kerkove is holding a $38,721 rebate check from Mid-American Energy Company associated with a lighting project at the metal casting facility. Clow replaced 175 metal halide light fixtures (along with a few other fixtures) with LED light fixtures that yield a total annual energy savings of 353,973 kilowatt hours. This energy savings is equivalent to the energy consumption of approximately 29 average size homes within the city of Oskaloosa, Iowa.
